3 research projects developed by Students of BİLGİ Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences are entitled to be supported by Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK).
According to the 2019 Second Term results of TÜBİTAK-Directorate of Science Fellowships and Grant Programmes (BİDEB) 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program, below given projects of BİLGİ students are deemed eligible to get support:
- The project entitled “Building a Model for Prediction of Drug Side Effects using Gene Expression Data” by Melisa Tuncer and Arzu Çakır, students of BİLGİ Genetics and Bioengineering, supervised by BİLGİ Genetics and Bioengineering faculty members Özlem Ulucan Açan ve Hilal Taymaz Nikerel.
- The project entitled “Collecting Sustainable Electric Power from the Growth Process of Plants” by Ömer Yıldız from BİLGİ Genetics and Bioengineering and Ege Salih Uras from BİLGİ Energy Systems Engineering, supervised by faculty members Prof. Dr. Serkant Ali Çetin from BİLGİ Energy Systems Engineering and Prof. Dr. Hatice Gülen from BİLGİ Genetics and Bioengineering.
- The project entitled “Low-Cost Video Laryngoscope Running on Low Power” by Furkan Utku Emre ve Metehan Köklü, students of BİLGİ Electrical and Electronics Engineering, supervised by faculty member Yiğit Dağhan Gökdel from BİLGİ Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program aims to encourage undergraduate students to conduct researches.
