Important Announcement

The recent change in the management of the Bilgi Education and Culture Foundation, which is the founding body of İstanbul Bilgi University, has not in any way altered our University’s institutional identity or academic autonomy—just as in the past; on the contrary, intends to ensure that our University continues its existence even more strongly than before.

BİLGİ will maintain and strengthen its autonomous institutional structure under the Bilgi Education and Culture Foundation as it has done so far. While our University prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary in June 2026, it will further consolidate its position among the leading institutions shaping higher education in our country, in line with the vision set forth by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

The core value that makes BİLGİ what it is lies in our shared commitment to quality education, lifelong learning, academic freedom, and social contribution. This shared commitment continues to illuminate our path. Founded with an innovative approach to education, BİLGİ has evolved into a university that creates impact on an international scale, carrying its academic presence onto a broad foundation where diverse disciplines converge across science, art, and design.
