BİLGİ Faculty of Law faculty member Prof. Cemile Demir Gökyayla took office as the member of International Supervisory Board of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Centre (OIC-AC).
Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Centre operates with the objectives of facilitating the resolution of commercial disputes between member countries, promoting arbitration and other dispute resolution methods in these countries, and making recommendations for the reform of the practices in this field.
The OIC-AC’s International Supervisory Board consists of 21 qualified lawyers specializing in international arbitration. The Board resolves commercial and investment disputes as stipulated in the OIC-AC’s Statute.
