The School of Global Studies at University of Gothenburg Support for the project titled ‘Geopolitics of Red Sea’

Ozan Kuyumcuoğlu was entitled to receive support with The School of Global Studies at University of Gothenburg within the scope of the project titled ‘Geopolitics of Red Sea’. It will be supported with a budget of 15,000 USD. The project examines the emergent political systems and geopolitics around Red Sea and the discourses and narratives developed by the states that attempt to establish dominance in the region and aims to demonstrate how the political structures of Africa and the Middle East are shaped on the basis of these discourses and narratives. The project will be carried out by a consortium composed of universities from Sweden, Israel, Dubai, Ethiopia, and Türkiye.
