TÜBİTAK Support for the project titled ‘Study on Determining the Profiles of Neet Youth in Türkiye from the Perspective of Well-being and Policy Making’
Prof. Emre Erdoğan was entitled to receive support with a budget of 1,106.680 TL for a period of 24 months with his project titled ‘Study on Determining the Profiles of Neet Youth in Türkiye from the Perspective of Well-being and Policy Making’ the application of which was made to TÜBİTAK 2519-COST Working Group Support Program by the virtue of him being an executive committee member of COST Action ‘CA18213-Rural Neet Youth Network: Modeling the risks underlying rural NEETs social exclusion (RNYN). In the project, Prof. Pınar Uyan Semerci, Başak Akkan, PhD, and, Tuğçe Erçetin, PhD will work as researchers. The project is grounded on a research study to be carried out employing multimethodology in order to portray a realistic profile of NEET youth, a problem that becomes increasingly more important, to demonstrate intersectionalities and multidimensionality, and to present different stories.
