8th Istanbul Pre-Moot

Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, is an organisation taking place in Vienna which fosters the study of international commercial law and arbitration for resolution of international business disputes through its application to a concrete problem of a client and to train law leaders of tomorrow in methods of alternative dispute resolution and will be held this year for the 26th time. Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, with the participation of more than three hundred universities, is one of the most comprehensive and prestigious competitions in its field. Prior to the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot various law schools and law firms organise national and international preliminary studies (“pre-moot”) for the purpose of preparing students in the best way for the Moot.

With the contribution of the Istanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC), BİLGİ Faculty of Law is proud to organize the Istanbul pre-moot. Ten Turkish universities (Altınbaş, Ankara, Bahçeşehir, Bilkent, Galatasaray, İstanbul Bilgi, İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim, Kadir Has, Marmara and MEF University) are participating in the event on 16-17 March 2019. Scholars and lawyers will support the pre-moot as arbitrators.
