The Seventh İstanbul Willem C. Vis Pre-Moot

Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, is an organisation taking place in Vienna which fosters the study of international commercial law and arbitration for resolution of international business disputes through its application to a concrete problem of a client and to train law leaders of tomorrow in methods of alternative dispute resolution and will be held this year for the 25th time. Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, with the participation of more than three hundred universities, is one of the most comprehensive and prestigious competitions in its field. Prior to the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot various law schools and law firms organise national and international preliminary studies (“pre-moot”) for the purpose of preparing students in the best way for the Moot.

BİLGİ Faculty of Law is proud to organize the Istanbul pre-moot since 2012. With the support of Istanbul Arbitration Centre, twelve Turkish universities (Altınbaş, Ankara, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt, Bahçeşehir, Bilkent, Galatasaray, İstanbul, İstanbul Bilgi, İstanbul Şehir, Kadir Has, Koç and MEF University) are participating in this year’s event. 

Scholars and lawyers of the leading law offices will support the pre-moot as arbitrators.
