Conference on the New ICC Rules of Arbitration
The new ICC Rules of arbitration will bring significant changes to the day-to-day practice of arbitral proceedings, whilst retaining the key features of ICC arbitration. The overall objective of the revised Rules is to enhance the efficiency of ICC arbitrations, with the view of keeping costs under better control and also to reducing the time taken to bring these arbitrations to an end.
The ICC International Court of Arbitration is the world’s leading institution for resolving international business disputes. In 2010 alone, 793 new cases were filed under the ICC Rules of arbitration, involving 2145 parties from 140 countries. Over 75 of these parties came from Turkey.
