Intellectual Property
To ensure that the rights to the knowledge and innovations produced within our university are protected, contribute to society, and transform into economic benefits, projects and studies subject to intellectual and industrial property are conducted in accordance with the İstanbul Bilgi University Employee Inventions Notification Directive.
The Technology Transfer Office (BİLGİ TTO) manages industrial property applications and processes, offering comprehensive support ranging from the registration to the commercialization of intellectual property rights.
BİLGİ TTO also serves as the Industrial Property Advisory Unit of TURKPATENT and the PATLIB Center of the European Patent Office, working to facilitate access to information and documentation related to industrial property rights.
The Intellectual Property Law Research Center provides consultancy and support to BİLGİ TTO in executing intellectual property processes.
