Library and e-Resources

İstanbul Bilgi University Library provides direct contribution to education, research and the intellectual development of students. Three libraries and seven study halls offer various spaces such as studying and reading sections for individual and collective use, comfortable reading sections, IT corners, etc.

BİLGİ e-library houses over 58,500 e-journals, 368,000 e-books, 117 databases and e-encyclopedias. These resources can be accessed any time of the day, either on-campus or from outside. The library also offers eye-friendly e-book readers and tablets equipped with the e-ink technology, which makes it possible to read thousands of e-books, and provides access to over 7,000 newspapers published in 60 languages in 100 countries.

User and information literacy seminars organized at BİLGİ Library teach efficient research methods and strategies necessary for easy and fast access to academic knowledge. Non-periodic seminars on a wide range of topics from basic research methods to advanced research, e-books to off-campus access, discovery tools to automatic notification are available to students throughout their studies.
