About the Program
The program is designed to provide advanced and evidence-based knowledge and skills to graduates of physiotherapy and rehabilitation undergraduate programs in the assessment, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, rheumatologic, cardiopulmonary, and other specific conditions related to the field. Furthermore, the program is based on the latest research and innovative scientific practices and is structured to meet the professional standards of the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. In the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master of Science Program, a strong academic staff provides mentorship in order to present a graduate education with a high-level understanding of the country, the profession, and the changing world.
The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master of Science Program is a four-semester, research-based program that focuses on the development of knowledge and skills in the field. The program aims to prepare graduates for leadership roles in research, education, and clinical practice. The courses offered in the program cover advanced musculoskeletal system assessments and therapeutic exercise interventions, technology-based rehabilitation practices, lymphedema treatments, core rehabilitation areas such as neurological, orthopedic, rheumatologic, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, evidence-based practice and research methods. The program also includes a thesis component in the last two semesters, which provides students with the opportunity to conduct original research in an area of their interest.
