In 2020, after graduating from İstanbul Bilgi University, Department of Industrial Engineering, I worked as a Product Specialist in a manufacturing company. I always thought "Should I do my master's degree now or later? Which department should I do it in?" At a time when I was hesitant to decide on a department due to the diversity of the industrial engineering field of study, I received an offer from a technology distributor company to manage a famous brand in Turkey and I accepted it. Of course, I preferred to apply to markaokulu in order to improve myself so that I could successfully fulfill this task. During my training, contrary to what I thought, I encountered content that appeals to many positions in many sectors, not only those who do brand management. Throughout the program, we had many enlightenments about the misunderstood truths since the first communication of the service or product with the consumer starts through the brand. Apart from beng very instructive, the lessons were also fun and conducted with mutual communication. The fact that our friends in the program were from different companies and different positions enabled us to transfer many different experiences to each other in this communication. Although I was very satisfied with every course I took in terms of content and enjoyment, I still have a few courses left in my mind that I couldn’t take. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the professors I crossed paths with and my friends with whom I shared many courses and projects in constant interaction, and send them a lot of love

My master's degree at İstanbul Bilgi University's markaokulu between 2014-2017 provided me with the opportunity to integrate my engineering background with social sciences, allowing me to gain many different perspectives that I did not have before. Thanks to this program, I have progressed rapidly in my career as a product manager by abandoning my tendency to look only at the data of customers from a sectoral perspective and improving my ability to ‘really’ listen and understand people within the framework of different methodologies. In addition, thanks to my fellow students from different sectors and disciplines and my professors with rich academic backgrounds, I had the chance to have an extremely enjoyable and instructive academic experience while making rich connections both personally and professionally.
