Program Structure
markaokulu is a master's program that offers a Master's (MA) degree in Marketing Communication under BİLGİ Faculty of Communication and has strong ties with its sectoral, social, and international stakeholders. markaokulu students come together with industry experts and prominent speakers in the field.
Students admitted to the program with project must successfully complete a total of 10 courses (2 core, 8 elective) and a project for graduation. The program with project is completed in minimum 2 and maximum 3 academic terms. Students who are accepted to the thesis program must successfully complete a seminar course and a master's thesis in addition to a total of 7 courses (4 core, 3 elective). The thesis program must be completed in a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 academic terms.
markaokulu offers a flexible and rich program structure that allows participants to specialize in different areas of marketing communication. The emphasis in our courses is on practice; for this reason, many of our courses include projects that require group work.
The elective course pool includes both courses offered within the program, which aim to provide specialization in different areas of marketing communication, and courses selected from different graduate departments of BİLGİ.
Classes are held between 19:00 and 22:00 on weekdays. Some courses may be face-to-face and some courses may be online. However, not all of the program is online.
The language of instruction in the Marketing Communication Master's Program is Turkish. However, most of the academic literature that forms the theoretical basis of marketing communication and the language of applications in the world is English. Therefore, some of the readings and resources may be in English. When we have foreign lecturers giving seminars and participating in the courses as guests, presentations are made in English.
