About the Program

İstanbul Bilgi University started education in 1996 in a small building in Maslak, İstanbul. In 2000, first in English and six months later in Turkish, e-MBA in Turkish was launched. Only 6 years after the Internet came to Türkiye, Türkiye's first internet-based e-MBA in Turkish came to life. This program became one of the few internet-based e-MBA programs in the world. For more than 20 years, BİLGİ has been continuing its master's programs in Turkish and English in Kuştepe, Dolapdere and most recently in santralistanbul Campus.

The program duration is 3 semesters. For graduation, a total of 10 courses (5 core, 5 elective) and a Graduation Project must be completed.

Lecture notes, presentations, assignments, and discussion forums can be followed on BİLGİ Learn learning platform. Classes are held online on weekday evenings between 19:00-21:00 and on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Final exams are held face-to-face on campus on weekends and on the dates specified in the Academic Calendar.

The program is taught by experienced part-time lecturers from the business world and experienced academics.

In addition to the core courses such as Finance, Strategy, Marketing, Business Analytics for Managers and Business Management, a large number of elective courses provide students with the opportunity to specialize in their desired field. In addition to the elective courses from the program, students can also take elective courses from different master programs such as Human Resources, Banking and Finance, Management Information Systems, and Accounting and Auditing.

Offering extensive networking opportunities with over 2000 alumni, the program includes courses that are not only based on theoretical knowledge that remains in the classroom, but are designed to provide knowledge and skills that will find their place in business life. In the light of current developments, courses are also renewed to meet changing needs.
