MA in Cultural Studies is an interdisciplinary programme which involves courses in literary theory, philosophy, film and television, history, communications, politics and sociology. The programme has been designed to afford students a comparative and multidisciplinary approach to the analysis of cultural and social change in Turkey and the world. The programme is conducted by an interdisciplinary group of scholars who examines relationships between different social groups and identities, how they are constructed and their relationship with social and cultural dynamics. With a rich selection of courses the programme not only aims to provide students with an educational and scholarly environment, but also to bring together people with different backgrounds and interests.
