Our vision is to be an education and research department promoting efficiency, intellectual curiosity and a questioning point of view; which is a candidate to solve complex engineering problems.

Our mission is to educate and graduate Industrial Engineers who know professional tools and models, develop solutions to complex problems by systems approach, ready to work in national and international positions, capable of working in multidisciplinary teams, promote leadership skills, responsible to community, respectful to ethical values; and to carry out internationally recognized research with academic staff who continuously improve themselves.
