In-Service Training Activities (Seminars and Workshops)
Definition: Bilgi TDC prepares and conducts in-service training activities to support the continuous development of instructors. The content of these trainings is determined based on trainer observations, administrative assessments, and feedback from instructors and students. These activities cover professional development topics such as innovations in language teaching, effective use of technology, educational psychology, and appropriate use of teaching materials. Additionally, presentations may be provided by the Preparatory Program Coordinator and other head of units on topics such as program updates, curriculum changes, and assessment processes. External speakers may also be invited to give presentations. Procedure: Attending training sessions that are held at the beginning of each academic year is mandatory for all full-time instructors. In addition, workshops are organized based on the instructors’ interests and needs throughout the year. This structure enhances instructors’ professional competencies and contributes to a culture of continuous learning within the institution.
