Language:
The official language in Türkiye is Turkish. However, English is widely spoken in tourist areas, hotels, restaurants, and museums, especially in Istanbul.
Currency:
Turkish Lira (₺ - TRY) Türkiye uses the Turkish Lira. Coins are available in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50 kuruş, and 1 lira. Banknotes come in 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 200 lira denominations.
