Co-chair Digital Marketing Research Cluster
Dr. Erz is primarily interested in digital consumer behavior, i.e., how digitalization affects consumer behavior, language, perceptions, judgments, and decisions. Her main research focuses on contexts such as social media (e.g., eWOM, influencer marketing, platform behavior) and artificial intelligence (e.g., chatbots). Dr. Erz's teaching is primarily on consumer behavior, across all educational levels. She co-founded the Digital Marketing Research Cluster in 2019 and has been co-chairing it since, which brings together digital marketing researchers across various lines of research. From 2012-2015, Dr. Erz held an individual EU Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship. She has been involved in other funding projects since - sometimes more, sometimes less successful - and is happy to share her insights into the dos and don'ts of research grant writing
